Appellation: Suisun Valley Located on the Southeast border of Napa County.
Vineyard Designation: Ledgewood Vineyard owned and managed by Roger King.
Fermentation: 2 day cold soak, 10 day fermentation & 14 days left on skins – extended maceration folks!
Time in oak: 18 months all French oak.
Bottling: Winter of 2005.
Cases produced: Only 94!
Bonus Information:
There are currently only 5 wineries in the state of California using the Suisun Valley appellation and two of them are in the Napa Valley. Guess which one we are?
